We believe motherhood is the most important job in the world. Considering the current climate, we know now is the time for an extra dose of encouragement. Here is your motherhood pep talk for the week. Sit on down, grab a cup of coffee and let us brag on you for a minute. 

Truth #1: The love that you give your children has a huge impact on their development. Your presence, words, and uniqueness have influence. You are teaching them life lessons that set them up for success. Your voice is the soundtrack of your kids’ lives. That’s a BIG deal. 

Truth #2: A mother’s job is endless. Did you know that 88% of all laundry is done by moms? For the average sized family, that is 330 loads of

laundry and nearly 5,300 articles of clothing each year! It takes about 2 minutes to change a diaper and by a baby’s 2nd birthday 7,300 diapers will have been changed. That adds up to three 40 - hour work weeks! And the average preschooler requires mom’s attention once every 4 minutes or 210 times a day. Of course you’re tired! Truth #3: Just because you have a bad day, doesn’t mean you’re a bad mom. We are going to make mistakes, lose our cool, and say things we wish we hadn’t. Remember, you can start fresh at any given moment. You don’t have to wait for a new day! Give yourself grace, apologize and begin again.
